foundation queen Matrix Meskhenet (Netty noodle). Noodle has now retired to a loving pet home and is remembered with much love. A special mention for Dotty, the cat that could have been Queen. Dotty went to live as a pet cat just as she made Champion. She won OVERALL BEST IN SHOW at the Egyptian Mau Club Show on 03 April 2010. About Me
My
name is Kerry McRae, I run a very small cattery in Staffordshire;
Meskhenet is my registered GCCF prefix name, I comply with the GCCF
code of ethics.
I have been a Mau owner since 2004, and a Mau breeder since 2005 when I had my first litter. Even though I am a relatively new breeder I am passionate about the breed and committed to furthering the UK Mau gene pool as a whole. I breed for health, type and personality. My cats are raised in a loving home environment and are well socialised for when the time comes to leave for their new homes. I am a member of The Egyptian Mau Club Ethics I strongly agree with and advise all cat owners to neuter their kittens as early as possible to lessen the amount of unwanted litters. I am completely against the barbaric procedure of de-clawing as I feel this is tantamount to animal cruelty in the extreme.
